The KE, available in two designs, is the vertical bead mill developed by NETZSCH. The classic KE SK is designed for use with large diameter steel beads. This system is suited for continuous processes in particle size reduction and homogenization applications like artificial cheese, cocoa liquor and chocolate compounds. The KE C series is designed for reducing the particle size of abrasive slurries including: Alumina, Boron Carbide, and Silicon Carbide.
KE SK Series
- Cooled grinding chamber made of wear resistant steel or stainless steel
- Agitator discs of wear resistant steel
- Sieve media separation with a large open area for viscous slurries
KE C Series
- Grinding chamber and discs lined with rubber or polyurethane
- Dynamic media separation and classifying system allow continuous feeding of the grinding media during operation
- Autogenous grinding using larger grains of the material to be ground
- Variable speed drive with frequency inverter for constant power input
- Media addition system by motor power draw
