MiniVac Operating Principle

[ Back to MiniVac ]

The product is sucked in by the vacuum inside the vacuum chamber and is transported to the center of a rotating bowl. Hereby a thin product film is spread over the rotating bowl which is continuously being de-aerated. The centrifugal force carries the product to the bowl's circumference where it is discharged via a pick-up pipe. The product’s residence time in the de-aerating chamber is controlled by non-return valves and valves.
